This is a specialized body massage treatment specifically designed for patients following liposuction or other types of surgeries. The benefits of massaging include inflammation reduction after liposuction and some surgeries.
Who is Post-Liposuction Lymphatic Massage Recommended For?
It is generally recommended that individuals get lymphatic drainage massages and or lipo-massage therapy following liposuction surgery beginning 3-4 weeks after surgery.
Suggested massage therapy is 2 times per week for 3-4 weeks. This allows for enhanced lymph drainage and for faster resolution of the swelling associated with liposuction and surgeries such as butt lift and/or fat transfer.
We only offer post surgery lymphatic drainage massage 4-6 weeks after your surgery and after all stitches and drain ports are removed. We do not offer massage in our clinic to drain port or drain fluid.
