MaxAesthetics Philadelphia Spa Policies & Etiquette

We thank you for choosing MaxAesthetics Spa in Philadelphia for your aesthetic skin care. Our mission is to provide you with the highest level of professional care, and one important aspect in providing optimal care is having an understanding of our policies and your financial responsibilities. MaxAesthetics Spa asks that you please observe our spa policy agreement, acknowledging full understanding of our policies prior to receiving services.

First Spa Visit To MaxAesthetics

If this is your first visit with us, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow ample check-in time, as we do have intake and client consent forms for each of our separate procedures. We also encourage our clients to fill out the skincare form online before their scheduled appointments.  MaxAesthetics Spa requires a valid credit card to book an appointment. The card will not be charged unless there is a no-show or last minute/same day cancellation in which case we will charge the full fee of $50. 


If you are unfamiliar with our location, please be advised that we do have a free private parking in addition to free street parking around our building.

MaxAesthetics Spa located in the Huntingdon Mills Complex at 2137 East Huntingdon Street, Philadelphia PA 19125 Fishtown-Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia Pa.

Client Responsibility & Payments 

Clients are responsible for the payment of their services rendered. Payment is expected at the time of service for all charges toward current visit, as well as any previous balances (ex: late, no-show fees.) We accept cash, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Apple-pay,  Discover and Venmo. Payment plans are available for certain packages. We  also offer financing through PayPal Credit.  We Do Not accept Insurance or Personal Checks. 

Gratuity for spa services is never expected, but always appreciated.   

MaxAesthetics Spa Late Policy 

We ask that clients please arrive 10-15 minutes early so that we may start your service on time. A late arrival may reduce your appointment time out of respect to the clients scheduled after you. We will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment, but this is not always possible based on our schedule. Lateness beyond 15 minutes, may cause us to have to reschedule your appointment.

MaxAesthetics Spa Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

The most valuable thing that you can give someone is your time, and we fully believe that everyone’s time should be respected.  In this light, we ask that you please give us 24 hours notice of a need to cancel or reschedule your appointment (48 hours for groups of two or more ) so that we are able to readjust our schedule accordingly. 

A failure to do so will result in the following:

 

  • Late Cancellations –Those attempting to cancel within less than 24 hours / same day of appointment time will be charged $50. The $50 Fee will be credited to your next service only if you reschedule within two weeks post cancellation or no show.

 

 

  • “No-shows” - Clients who are not present for their appointment will be considered a No-show, and charged $50. Clients will also be required to hold future appointments with a valid credit card that will be charged the full price of the booked service in the event of a 2nd no-show or late cancellation.

 

A continued history of no-shows( 3 ) may result in a dismissal from MaxAesthetics Spa. Consultation visits that are repeatedly cancelled will count towards the patient’s no-show record and may result in refusal to schedule future appointments.

Changes in Scheduled Service at MaxAesthetics

If you decide to change your booked service at MaxAesthetics Spa, please understand that most times we will do our best to accommodate this change, occasionally we are unable to do so given the amount of time scheduled. (ex: Deciding to get a relaxing facial which lasts an hour vs. a chemical peel which may take 20-30 minutes.  In order for us to give you the best treatment possible, we ask that you please call 24 hours in advance to discuss any changes to that you would like to make to your scheduled service.

Age Requirements & Children

We love teaching teens & young adults about the right skin care at a young age, so we do allow them to enjoy certain spa treatments with the following conditions: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and all young individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian give signed consent acknowledging that they understand the treatment and give full consent.


We do our best to maintain a peaceful atmosphere at MaxAesthetics Spa, especially when we have multiple clients visiting with us. It is the adult’s responsibility to monitor the behavior of their child/children and assist us in keeping a calm spa environment. 

MaxAesthetics does not offer Child Sitting

Precautions and Contraindications

Some of our services are not recommended for persons who are pregnant, have allergies or specific medical conditions, or are taking certain medications such as Accutane, Steroids, Antibiotics. Please check with your physician to determine what is right for you, if you are under the care of a physician, please be sure to inform us of any medical conditions, pregnancy, or special requests when you book your appointment. 


MaxAesthetics Spa Gift Cards & Gift Certificates For Spa Service payment

Gift Certificates are available for specific services, packages, or dollar amounts, and are still redeemable if lost, as they are on file. If you are the recipient of a donated gift certificate and do not call to cancel/reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged a $50 no show fee .

Product Refund Policy

You may return any unopened skin care products within 30 days of purchase for a full credit as long as they are in original packaging. Any opened purchases would need to be exchanged for spa credit towards any treatment or product of equal value. 

Cellular or Mobile Phones

In order to preserve a relaxing atmosphere for you and our other guests, we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phones or place it in silent mode when in the spa.

Spa Treatment Aftercare

Your skin care specialist will make the best home care recommendations for you, and provide you with the appropriate aftercare information. With any skin care treatment it is imperative to follow the aftercare instructions, as your results are based on compliance.


Privacy Policy

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for MaxAesthetics.com. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Security: We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Events, Surveys & Contests: From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
